ScheduleSource today released its new ScheduleSource TeamWork Enhanced Employee Self Service Portal. The new employee portal consolidates schedules, employee availability, shift swaps and leave into a new view and workflow that gives employees total visibility into their work and leave situation from a single screen.
The re-design included a complete re-engineering of the look and feel of the user interface to improve usability, improve page refresh times and enhance the user experience. The new look will be rolled out across the entire TeamWork system over the next six months.
“The new employee self service capability is designed around the philosophy of de-centralizing the tools for workforce management while maintaining strong enforcement of organizational policies, legal mandates and budgetary limitations”, says Scott Hammers, CTO of ScheduleSource. “It is critical to the fundamental quality of a Workforce system for employees to have the ability to easily master their individual portal and thereby actively participate in the management process. By empowering employees to self administer their work lives in a manager controlled environment, all parties benefit.”
The new Employee Self-Service portal is an option in the TeamWork 3.0 release currently available and will be the standard employee system with TeamWork 4.0, coming in July of 2011.
